Philip joins Threepenny Opera!

Philip is excited to announce he has joined the cast of City Lyric Opera’s Threepenny Opera as Peachum! The production goes up in November and will feature a delightful hybrid of pre-recorded and live performances presented over Zoom.

Concert Cancellation

Unfortunately Philip’s upcoming performance, A Celebration of Youth with VOX New England, has been cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns. Stay tuned to see if this concert gets rescheduled for some time in the Spring.

2020 Gig Alerts!

Philip is excited to announce two new engagements for 2020! First he returns to the Mineola Choral Society to perform Faure’s Requiem and Mozart’s Coronation Mass in C. He follows that up with the role of Peter in Hansel and Gretel with City Lyric Opera!

Philip is named a Laureate of Jeunes Ambassadeurs Lyriques!

For the fifth time in ten years, Philip has been named as a laureate of Jeunes Ambassadeurs Lyriques! Along with 18 other Canadian singers, Philip will represent the nation’s vocal talent in a series of gala concerts in Montreal in November. In attendance will be many esteemed directors from Europe and across the world.

Five Mystical Songs, Organ Recital in Worcester, MA

On September 30th at 7:30 PM Philip returns to St. Michael's-on-the-Heights Church in Worcester, MA to celebrate their 75th anniversary! In concert with organist Sean Redrow, Philip will perform works by Bach, Faure, and the Five Mystical Songs by Ralph Vaughan Williams. In addition to celebrating the church's anniversary, the concert will be a benefit for victims of the recent hurricanes to strike the southern United States.
This concert marks a homecoming for Philip as he grew up in Worcester, and started singing with the Saint Michaels on-the-Heights Church children's choir!

Lotte Lenya Competition Finalist!

Philip is proud and excited to announce that he has been named one of fourteen finalists in this year's Lotte Lenya Competition! Coming off of his semi-final performance and coaching with Broadway vet Judy Blazer he heads to Rochester, NY at the end of April where he will compete in the finals. Fourteen competitors from five countries were named finalists, and Philip is thrilled to represent Canada. For more information on the competition, click here!

Lotte Lenya Competition Semi-finalist!

Philip is please to announce that he has been named a semi-finalist in the 2017 Lotte Lenya Competition! A program of the Kurt Weill Foundation for Music, the competition recognizes singer/actors for excellence in a wide-ranging repertoire of theater singing. The semi-finals take place in early March in New York.

NYC Oratorio Debut!

Just announced! Philip will make his New York City Oratorio debut singing the role of Adam in Haydn's The Creation. He joins soloists Ellen Goff Entriken, James Benjamin Rodgers, and Andrew Martens in a performance conducted by William Entriken. 4 PM on March 26th at the First Presbyterian Church in NYC.

Philip Returns to the Fairfield County Chorale

Philip will return to perform with the Fairfield County Chorale in May 2017. He will perform the baritone solos in Fauré's Requiem and in Ralph Vaughan Williams' Dona Nobis Pacem. The concert will feature the Fairfield County Chorale, Maestro David Rosenmeyer, and Soprano Larisa Martinez. Philip last performed with the Chorale in December 2015, singing the Bach Magnificat.
