Philip is thrilled to announce that he will return to Tel Aviv this summer to take part in the International Vocal Arts Institute's summer training program. Philip will sing L'horloge comtoise and Le chat in a production of L'enfant et les sortileges directed by Joshua Major and conducted by Paul Nadler. Philip has also been invited to the Canadian Arts Vocal Institute in Montreal, where he will reprise those two roles in the same production.
Jeunes Ambassadeurs Lyriques!
Philip is very excited to announce that he has been named to the Jeunes Ambassadeurs Lyriques for the fourth time! He has been invited to the gala performance in Montreal in November of 2013, where he and the other laureates will perform for a panel of European directors.

Le soprano Ellen Wieser, Jeune Ambassadeur Lyrique 2013 sera invitée à se produire au Festival international du Sori près de Séoul en Corée du Sud du 28 septembre au 6 octobre 2013 avec un cachet de $ 2 000 pour chanter un air durant ce festival et participer à la création d’une oeuvre de 15 minutes d’un compositeur sud-coréen ( transport, hotel et per diem payés par le festival)
Deux jeunes ambassadeurs lyriques 2012, seront aussi en tournée en Chine en juin 2013, Arianna Sovernigo et Rachel Pelletier-Tremblay
The soprano Ellen Wieser, Jeunes Ambassadeurs Lyriques 2013 laureate, will be invited to perform at the International Sori Festival near Seoul in South Korea from September 28th to October 6th, 2013 with a fee of $ 2000 to sing one aria during the festival and participate in the creation of a work of 15 minutes from a South Korean composer (transport, hôtel and per diem paid by the festival)
Two Jeunes Ambassadeurs Lyriques 2012, will also be on tour in China in June 2013, Arianna Sovernigo and Rachel Pelletier Tremblay.

Cosi fan tutte tour underway!
The Jeunesses Musicales Canada Spring Tour of Mozart's Cosi fan tutte begins tonight in Montreal! Philip plays Guglielmo in this Alain-Gauthier directed production that will be touring throughout Ontario and Western Quebec.

Rehearsal are underway for the Québec premiere of Jake Heggie's Dead Man Walking presented by l'Opéra de Montréal! Philip plays the Motor Cop in an all-star and all-Canadian cast featuring Allyson McHardy, Étienne Dupuis, and Kimberly Barber.
Opening night of L'enfance du Christ
It's opening night for Berlioz's L'enfance du Christ in Montréal with L'orchestre symphonique de Montréal! The presentation features Michèle Losier, Tyler Duncan, Gino Quilico, Pascal Charbonneau, Alexandre Sylvestre, Philip Kalmanovitch, and Isaiah Bell. Conducted by Kent Nagano.

Big News from Jeunes Ambassadeurs Lyriques !
Philip is thrilled to announce that he is the recipient of two prizes from the 2012 Jeunes Ambassadeurs Lyriques Gala in Montreal, QC. He was awarded the Prix Lyrique Quebec-Baviere, a $2500 bursary to support professional training at the Munchen StaatsOpera Junge Ensemble in 2013, and the Prix Lyrique Allemand, a $2000 bursary to support an audition tour in Germany!
Lots of exciting news to come on this front, including engagements for upcoming seasons! Stay tuned!
Messiahs in Ottawa and Montreal!
Philip is excited to announce he will be performing 2 presentations of Handel's Messiah in Ottawa and Montreal this December!
The first will be on December 7 with CAMMAC as part of their Come Sing Messiah! event.
The second is on December 9 with the Choeur Polyphonique de Montreal.
Both performances will be conducted by Louis Lavigeur.
Opening Night
It's Opening Night in Welland, ON for Chorus Niagara's presentation of Best of Broadway: An Evening with Rodgers and Hammerstein! It features selections from Oklahoma!, Carousel, South Pacific, The King and I, The Sound of Music, and more! Conducted by Robert Cooper, CM, featuring soloists Allison Angelo, Adam Fisher, Philip Kalmanovitch, and Chorus Niagara and the Niagara Symphony Orchestra.

Chorus Niagara Best of Broadway
Philip is excited to announce that he will be performing with Chorus Niagara in their presentation of Best of Broadway: Some Enchanted Evening with Rodgers and Hammerstein on November 3rd and 4th in Welland, Ontario!
This marks Philip's first return to Chorus Niagara since his performance in Nils Lindberg's A Christmas Cantata in 2009. He is also reunited with conductor Robert Cooper (Orpheus Choir Toronto).
The music includes selections from some of musical theatre's greatest treasures including Oklahoma!, The Sound of Music, and Carousel.
